Logged is a Chrome extension that passively detects job applications you submit and keeps a local record so you can track your job search without manual data entry.
None. Logged does not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers. All application data (company names, job titles, dates, URLs) is stored entirely on your device using Chrome's built-in storage APIs (chrome.storage.local).
If you are a Logged Pro subscriber, you may optionally connect your Gmail account. When connected, Logged reads your recent emails locally in your browser to find application confirmation messages. This uses Chrome's identity API and the Gmail API with read-only access.
Logged runs content scripts on specific job platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) to detect when you submit an application. If you enable "Detect on all websites" in Settings, Logged also runs a lightweight script on other pages to catch applications on company career sites. This script exits immediately on pages that don't look like job applications.
No browsing data, page content, or personal information is collected or transmitted from any website you visit.
Paid subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe for payment processing. Logged does not handle or store any payment information. Your email and payment details are managed entirely by Stripe under their privacy policy.
No analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry of any kind are included in Logged.
Uninstalling the Logged extension deletes all locally stored data. You can also clear your data at any time from Chrome's extension settings.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will be noted in the Chrome Web Store listing.
